Read Bahamas, founded by Nancy McDonald in 2007, is
a program which believes every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of reading and develop a life-long love of books.

Books fire a child's imagination and expand their knowledge of the world. Good readers will be good students and have better job opportunities and a brighter future.

To this end, the Read Bahamas program donates high quality children's books to schools throughout the Bahamas.
